Now that school is coming to a close and I was able to get most of my homework done last week, so I was able to take a break this Saturday. My mom and I went for a drive out in the country and visited Ram Falls. It was nice just to get out. I had a lot of fun and even saw wild horses for the first time!
We were not really sure where we were going to end up, but we just started driving and our final destination ended up being Ram Falls Provincial Park.
We only walked out to see the frozen falls, but beware there are quite a few stairs to get out to the look-out spot, but it’s worth it. I would love to go back this summer and see the falls when they aren’t frozen.
For all you avid hikers out there, there is a more difficult hike. Ram Falls Fire Lookout sounds like a bit more challenging hike, but we didn’t do it this time due to timing.
The website SAMTSAI.COM does a spectacular job explaining the quick walk to the falls and even has some pictures of what it looks like in the summer. Be sure to check it out!
Here are some pictures from my impromptu adventures (they aren’t the best due to it being quite cloudy, but it still gives you a general idea 😃 ).
